Numora vs Spendee

Checked on 30 October 2026

Spendee is a budgeting app built around wallets and bank sync. Numora comes at money from the other side, splitting shared costs and tracking your own spending in the same free app. If other people are part of your spending, that difference matters.

Where Numora pulls ahead

  • Sharing is free. Making a group, splitting a bill and settling up don't need a paid plan. In Numora a group can split equally, among the people you tick or by exact amounts, and the Dues tab shows who owes whom in as few payments as possible.
  • Add expenses in natural language. Type an expense into WhatsApp or Telegram the way you'd say it and Numora adds it. Spendee doesn't have this.
  • Noo, an AI assistant. Ask Noo where most of your spending goes or whether you can afford a weekend away, and it answers with a number, a chart or a list. Spendee has no AI assistant.
  • Clean, with a nudge to log. Numora's tagline is "Track it. Split it. One clean expense app." A daily reminder, 8:30 pm by default, only goes off on days you haven't logged anything.

Where Spendee wins

Bank sync. Spendee's plans page lists it on every plan, along with automatic categorisation and import and export of transactions, so your spending can arrive without typing it in. It also supports multiple currencies. Numora doesn't convert currencies yet, and multiple currencies are coming soon.

Which one?

Choose Spendee if your goal is a personal budget fed by your bank. Choose Numora if you share costs with a partner, flatmates or friends, and you want that, your own spending and your recurring bills in one free app.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add an expense in natural language?

Link your Numora account to WhatsApp or Telegram first. After that, type the expense the way you'd say it, like "Coffee 4" or "Dinner 1200 in Goa Trip", and Numora adds it and files it in the right category.

What is Noo, and who can use it?

Noo is Numora's AI assistant. It reads your expenses and answers with a number, a chart or a list. It is optional and only runs after you agree to it. It is for people 18 and over, it isn't available in every country, and it has a daily question limit.

How much does Spendee cost?

Basic is free. Its plans page lists Plus at $1.99 a month or $14.99 a year, and Premium at $5.99 a month or $35.99 a year. Prices vary by country, and every plan comes with a 7-day free trial.

Other apps change their prices and limits often, so check their pages before you decide.
