Numora vs Splid
Checked on 30 October 2026
Splid is the app people reach for on holiday. It works offline, needs no sign-up and converts more than 150 currencies. Numora covers the rest of the year, with a budget, recurring bills, expenses typed in natural language and an AI assistant.

Where Numora pulls ahead
- Add expenses in natural language. Type an expense into WhatsApp or Telegram the way you'd say it and Numora adds it, without opening the app. Splid doesn't have this.
- Noo, an AI assistant. Ask Noo where your money goes or how you're doing on your budget and get a number, a chart or a list. Splid has no AI assistant.
- Built for the whole month. Rent, bills and subscriptions repeat on a schedule you set, there's a monthly budget showing what's left, and a daily reminder, 8:30 pm by default, only goes off on days you haven't logged anything.
- Clean, and in one place. Numora's tagline is "Track it. Split it. One clean expense app." Your own spending, your groups and your recurring bills share one home screen.
Where Splid wins
Splid asks for no sign-up, works offline and handles more than 150 currencies with automatic conversion. For a trip with patchy signal and a mix of currencies, that's hard to beat. Numora doesn't convert currencies yet, and a group uses the currency its creator picked. Multiple currencies are coming soon.
The free version has paid upgrades too. The App Store lists Splid Plus and extra groups as in-app purchases, so check what the free version covers before you plan a long-running group.
Which one?
Choose Splid for a holiday abroad where you want zero setup. Choose Numora for a flat, a couple or any group that shares costs all year, and for tracking your own spending along the way.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add an expense in natural language?
Link your Numora account to WhatsApp or Telegram first. After that, type the expense the way you'd say it, like "Coffee 4" or "Dinner 1200 in Goa Trip", and Numora adds it and files it in the right category.
What is Noo, and who can use it?
Noo is Numora's AI assistant. It reads your expenses and answers with a number, a chart or a list. It is optional and only runs after you agree to it. It is for people 18 and over, it isn't available in every country, and it has a daily question limit.
Do I need an account for Splid?
No. Its site says no sign-up is needed, and groups can be shared online without an account. Numora asks you to sign in with Google or Apple first.
Other apps change their prices and limits often, so check their pages before you decide.
